The RSSA is happy to announce accepting conference papers to be published in the conference proceedings for the PAARS/RSSA conference. This event will be in collaboration with the Saudi Journal of Radiology (SJR). Top papers will be presented in the conference.

This submission is for full completed research manuscripts and is NOT for abstract-only submissions.

Format your conference paper

The format of the conference paper manuscript should follow the general Author Guidelines provided in the Saudi Journal of Radiology including all related ethical guidelines (SJR) https://saudiradiology.com/index.php/home/about/submissions

In general, all conference papers must be or include:

• Original research manuscripts (with all the required section of an original paper (including Title, Authors, Affiliations, Correspondence, Abstracts, Primary Radiologic field area, Introduction, methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Funding, Disclosure of Conflict of interests, Acknowledgment, References).
• In Radiologic Science fields (should indicate Primary Area of Research after the abstract section)
• Not been previously published
• Approved by all Authors
• Written in English Language
• Doubled-spaced using a 12-point font and Times New Roman font
• Figures and tables placed within the main document

Important instruction for PAARS/RSSA special issue:

• The total number of words should not be more than 3000 or range of 4-6 pages (including references)
• Please make sure that you write (RSSA conference) before the title of the submitted paper.
• Example: RSSA Conference: The Effects of smoking on Lung Markings of Chest X-Ray
• Please make sure that you select the correct tracking of research area that appears during the submission process at the SJR website when submitting.

The reviewing processes

• All submitted manuscripts will be evaluated by the reviewers committee of the conference proceedings and the journal.
• On average, three reviewers will evaluate each manuscript using a standardized criteria including meeting the guidelines of the conference papers, the relevance and uniqueness of the topics, quality of the manuscript (scientifically and technically).
• All authors will be notified by email of the decision of accepting or rejecting their manuscripts.
• There will be no rounds during the reviewing process, rather a notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent.

After acceptance

• All accepted conference papers will be published in a conference special issue (The 12th PAARS and the 15th RSSA Conference Paper Proceedings) in the Saudi Journal of Radiology (SJR).
• The article processing charge (APC) is 550 Saudi Riyals. The top accepted conference papers will be given the chance of presenting their work during the conference as an oral presentation.
• The published articles can also be displayed as a poster presentation during the conference.
• The number of accepted papers depend solely on the number of submitted papers, quality of work and passing of the reviewing processes.
